José M. Peiró is a full Professor at the University of Valencia and Director of the Research Institute of Human Resources Psychology, O.D. and Quality of Working life (IDOCAL). He is Past-President of the IAAP and served as President of EAWOP. He is Fellow member of SIOP and of the EAOHP. He served as Associate Editor of the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology (1995-2001). His research focuses on occupational stress, team and organizational climate and culture and youth labor market entry, unemployment, and over qualification. He published more than 200 articles and book chapters and several books and monographs. He is Doctor Honoris Causa by the Methodist University of São Paulo and has been awarded the Aristotle Prize by EFPA (2015), the Advanced International Research and Service Award by the ICP (2013), and the Life time Award of EAWOP (2013).
