Carla Maria Santos de Carvalho: PhD from the University of Coimbra in the area of Work and Organizational Psychology. She has been teaching in Higher Education since 1993. From 1998 to the present, she is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra (FPCE-UC/Portugal); member and Vice-Coordinator of the European Master Erasmus Mundus WOP-P (University of Coimbra); Coordinator and supervisor of the internships in Psychology Masters (MIP, and WOP-P). Member of the OPP (Portuguese Psychologists’ Association); Member of the Research Unit IPCDHS | FPCE-UC: Institute of Cognitive Psychology, Human and Social Development. Consultant/Trainer certified in the area, since 1991. Prof. Carla Carvalho has published numerous research studies in the discipline, both in books and national/international scientific journals, such as Revista de Psicología del Trabajo y de las Organizaciones, Spanish Journal of Psychology and BMC Health Services Research; participated as a speaker in national/international Congresses and reviewer of national and international journals in the area. Her current research interests/projects are on: Entrepreneurship, Emotional labor, Work-life Balance, Quality of life at Work, and Organizational Change.
