Montse Subirats is a holder of Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Valencia, University Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and Private Pilot License (PPL) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). During 6 years she was occupying the position of Chief Ground Instructor (CGI) at AIRMED, International Flight School, and during 3 years was working as a Senior Consultant at Bo Growth, an HHRR consulting firm. At present, she is working as  Valencia Base Manager at Panamedia, International Flight School, and is a member of the Spanish Aviation Psychology Association (AEPA), having served as a Secretary during 3 years. As an Assistant Professor in Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Valencia, she is currently teaching Social Psychology of Work in Psychology Degree in English to HAP (High Academic Performance) group, conducting Internship to students of Master on Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P) and managing DFPs (Degree Final Projects) in LLRR and HHRR Degree. She has received recognitions for research studies: 2004 William A. Owens Scholarly Achievement Award from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and 2012 Gordon Allport Intergroup Relations Prize from the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI).
