How to apply (2026-2028 ed.)

This application process is to enroll in any of the European awarding universities involved, and it is the same for all the applicants.

All applications received from 14 April to 10 May, 2026, 23:59 (Madrid, Spain) will be considered for the WOP-P Master and the Consortium Scholarships (grants). Any application received after this deadline will only be considered for the selection process to the WOP-P Master.

Required documents:

Make sure that you have all the following documents* ready before introducing your data in the online application because you will have to upload them by the end. Also, make sure that you only prepare one file for each of the following documents. There are important instructions for your files. Please, read them carefully.

  1. Your Degree in Psychology. If you do not have it yet, please give an explanation in a text document and upload this document (a personal text document is sufficient as long as it includes your full name, is dated, and contains your handwritten signature). There are formal requirements for your Degree in Psychology, (note that these requirements are not necessary during the application process. They must be fulfilled only when the Coordinating University informs the student that he/she has been accepted). Candidates who do not hold a degree in Psychology must have a degree that includes at least 50% of credits in Psychology or in methodology/statistics-related courses (sufficient official documentation must be provided to support this requirement). Once a candidate has applied, the Consortium will confirm their eligibility; as a general rule, at least a major in Psychology is required.
  2. Your official academic transcripts in Psychology issued by your University (also including the average grade of your transcript). Even if they are not complete yet, please upload them. Incomplete transcripts must also be official. There are formal requirements for your academic transcripts in Psychology, (note that these requirements are not necessary during the application process. They must be fulfilled only when the Coordinating University informs the student that he/she has been accepted). Also, provide your University´s grading scale (the grading system could be at the back of your transcripts, in the description of the study program, or in the Diploma Supplement). If you do not have this info, please ask your University to provide you with an official doc where the grading scale appears.
  3. CGPA calculation: If your Bachelor’s average mark is not based on a 0-4 scale, you must calculate your CGPA. Follow the instructions here: https://www.erasmuswop.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/CGPA-calculation-Guidelines.pdf . Also, provide your University´s grading scale (the grading system could be at the back of your transcripts, in the description of the study program, or in the Diploma Supplement). If you do not have this info, please ask your University to provide you with an official doc where the grading scale appears.
  4. CV in English following the Standard European Format.
  5. A motivation-letter. Suggestion: between 500 and 1500 words written in English. There is no template to follow for the motivation letter.
  6. Two letters of reference (one preferably academic). These letters must be sent to letters@uv.es directly from the referee. Ask your referees to enter your full name in the letter. You will find instructions in the WOP-P letter of recommendation model. We will not accept letters uploaded by candidates. Tell your referees to write your NAME AND SURNAME in the subject of the email. To ensure confidentiality, we will not provide any information about the reception of the letters. DEADLINE FOR THE LETTERS OF REFERENCE:
  • Scholarships period: from 14 April to 10 May, 2026, 23:59 (Madrid, Spain)
  • Master period only: dates pending

Letters arriving later will be discarded in both periods (Scholarship and Master only). Please make sure you notify your referees about these deadlines.

7. Proof of nationality, such as any of the documents listed on the PRADO website (preferably your passport).

8. A certificate of residence. The place of residence should be verified based on the provision of a certificate of:

  • residence issued in accordance with the candidate’s municipality’s normal registration rules,
  • OR a certificate from the candidate’s place of work, study, or training issued by the employer or institution in question.

The document must have been issued within 12 months before the submission deadline of the scholarship application period.

9. A recent and formal photo.

10. English assessment:

a) Candidates must provide ONE of the following two documents as proof of English proficiency:

  • An official letter from the candidate’s university confirming that they have received instruction in English (the letter must be signed or stamped by the relevant authorities to be considered valid). This letter will be considered equivalent to a C1 level of English proficiency; OR
  • An official English certificate: only Cambridge Assessment English or the Oxford Test of English will be considered.

b) Candidates who do not provide any of the above-mentioned documents will be assessed by an external company during the selection process (arranged by the WOP-P Master at no cost to the candidate). You will receive further information about the English test after submitting your application.

11. Any other document you would like to provide

* For the application and selection process for WOP-P Master, the European universities will accept a photocopy of these documents (must be officially issued by your University) as long as the language in which these documents are written is either English, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish. Other languages will not be accepted. If your documents are not written in one of these languages, you should send us a mere photocopy of your documents together with a translation into English made by a sworn translator. Another type of translation will not be accepted.

To apply, you must compulsorily complete both steps:

STEP 1: Fill in the WOP-P online application form here https://app.erasmuswop.org/. Please follow this GUIDE. IMPORTANT: If you upload/update additional documentation to your initial application, you must let us know. After applying, you must save the downloadable receipt at application completion (you will need it for step 2). Required documents should be uploaded in the application form, applications and documents sent by email, fax, or postal mail will not be accepted.

STEP 2: Register your application at the University of Valencia. Please follow the INSTRUCTIONS here. After applying, you must save the downloadable receipt at application completion. Although you may not receive a confirmation of your registration, the receipt will serve as valid proof.

Submitting early allows time to address any potential problems and ensures your application is submitted successfully and on time. We strongly advise applicants not to wait until the last moment to complete all the necessary steps for their application. Technical issues or unexpected delays in the system could result in being excluded from the call.
